Simple broadcast control of DALI-2 lights and connection of DALI-2 sensors as application controllers
Four independently controllable DALI systems.
Connection of up to 128 DALI devices to the actuator.
For each DALI system (outputs 1 to 4), a maximum DALI bus current of 80 mA is available for operating up to 40 DALI operating devices.
Switching and dimming of DALI operating device (e.g. electronic ballast).
Support for the control of DALI operating devices of the “Tunable White” device type (DALI Device Type 8 - TW). Colour temperature controlled via relative or absolute dimming and also via scenes. The colour temperature control is largely independent of the brightness control of the light sources used.
Control of the light colour when using DALI operating devices of the “Colour Control” device type (DALI Device Type 8 - RGBW Colour Control). Flexible colour control in the “RGB”, “RGBW” or “HSV” colour spaces. In the RGB colour spaces, the colour can be controlled by relative or absolute dimming either via combined or separate communication objects according to the KNX specifications and additionally via scenes. In the “HSV” colour space, separate objects are available for absolute control of the light colour by hue (H), saturation (S) and brightness value (V) and are likewise additionally controllable via scenes.
Automatic colour cycle: cyclical adjustment of the hue in the colour circle. This results in continuous colour gradients that can be started and stopped at any time during the runtime of the DALI actuator.
Automatic brightness cycle: cyclical adjustment of brightness throughout the entire brightness range.
Manual operation of the DALI systems independently of the bus (also building site operation with broadcast control), separately for the DALI systems. Control of the switching state and brightness.
Feedback about DALI error status, DALI short circuit and notification of power supply failure.
Up to 6 central switching and dimming functions.
Standby switch-off of the connected electronic ballasts can be implemented. Group feedback of all switching states possible.
The four DALI systems can be integrated in up to 16 light scenes for controlling the brightness, colour temperature or colour.
Active status messages for switching state, brightness value, colour temperature and colour are possible for each DALI system.
Brightness and colour temperature limits (minimum, maximum) can be set.
Dimming behaviour and dimming characteristics can be parameterised.
Gentle switching on and off of lights (soft ON, soft OFF).
Blocking function or alternative forced setting function can be parameterised. When the blocking function is enabled, the lights of a DALI system may flash.
Time functions (switch-on/switch-off delay, staircase light function - also with advance warning function).
Elapsed operating time meter.
DALI Power-ON level and DALI system failure level can be set via the “After bus/mains voltage recovery” and “In the event of bus/mains voltage failure” behaviour parameters respectively.
Reactions in the event of bus/mains voltage failure and following an ETS programming process can be set (for brightness controller). Predefined for colour temperature and colour control.
Multimaster-compatible, additional DALI-2 sensors can be installed as application controllers in any DALI system.
