The Gira G1 is a multifunctional room operating device for visualizing and operating a wide range of building functions. The Gira G1 serves as a client for the Gira Server X1, Gira One and the Gira HomeServer. The Gira door communication systems can also be integrated without any problems.

Properties as Gira HomeServer Client
- Depending on the configuration, the Gira G1 can be used in systems with a Gira HomeServer as a client from HomeServer Expert Version 4.13.
- The Gira G1 displays the interface design of the Gira HomeServer. Almost all functions available in the series delivery range of the Gira HomeServer and also diagrams, cameras, camera archives, messages, value displays and the weather forecast are supported. The free visualization is also displayable.
- Both light and dark design is supported and can be switched on.
- A simplified parameterization via the GPA is possible if the G1 is to be used as a pure room operating device.
- In addition, the G1 can be used as a residential station in parallel. This function can be realized for Gira 2-wire door communication via the TKS-IP gateway or as a SIP client.
Properties as Gira X1 client
- Depending on the configuration, the Gira G1 can be used as a client in systems with a Gira X1.
- After activation, the Gira G1 displays the interface design of the Gira X1. Up to 500 Gira X1 functions can be supported.

Properties as Gira One Server Client
- Depending on the configuration, the Gira G1 can be used as a client in attachments with a Gira One server.
- After activation, the Gira G1 displays the Gira Smart Home app interface. Up to 250 Gira One consumers can be visualized.
- A maximum of 50 Gira G1 is possible in a Gira One project.
- In addition to building control consumers, the Gira G1 client provides the following functions in the Gira One Server:
