Taking centre stage for ABB at the 2025 ISE Trade Show was their Smart Energy Management solution within their KNX APP-Control Server which allows optimisation of a systems power usage to become more self-sufficient and lower running costs.
When utilised in a project the APP-Control Server, when linked with the relevant energy provider, can schedule energy consuming equipment in a balanced way based on available energy. In addition, consumption, production, tariff and scheduling can be displayed graphically for easily visualisation.
With ABB’s KNX APP-Control Server (formerly the ControlTouch), smartphones, tablets, laptops become practical remote controls for your KNX smart home system. Coming with a new name, refreshed interface and new functionalities, it connects the KNX installation to the IP network, allowing users to control all KNX functions in buildings and homes, and enabling simplified commissioning, remote programming & enhanced troubleshooting for the installer.
