We’re excited to announce the addition of the MDT KNX Room Actuators ( AKR-IO86.01S & AKR-IO108.01S) to our portfolio, a versatile device that brings greater flexibility, control and efficiency to modern KNX installations.
Built with performance and practicality in mind, MDT’s new AKR actuators deliver a powerful and flexible solution for modern KNX installations, combining 6/8 switching channels rated at 16 A with 8/10 universal inputs in a single device. Its high inrush current capacity of 140 µF ensures reliable switching of LED and capacitive loads, making it suitable for a wide range of residential and commercial applications. In addition, with integrated KNX Data Secure, enhanced protection for KNX communication is also provided, helping safeguard systems against unauthorised access and ensuring long-term peace of mind.
Despite its high functionality, the actuator’s compact 4SU DIN-rail design makes the most of available panel space, enabling neat and efficient layouts even, particularly beneficial in installations with limited distribution board room. Built with installers in mind, it provides straightforward ETS configuration and flexible input assignment for switches, sensors and pushbuttons, simplifying installation while delivering maximum control and operational efficiency.
