KNX Training
In order to confidently and efficiently offer KNX solutions achieving KNX Partner Certification is essential. This involves completing a 5-day course which details how to design, install, programme and troubleshoot a KNX system. Classroom based, this course is comprised of various theoretical and practical modules on the KNX programming software, ETS. This is the most popular course we offer at My KNX Store and we are proud to hold a 100% pass rate.
Supporting our graduates as they start to work on KNX projects in at the core of our company focus. All our graduates receive a My KNX Store Handover Pack which includes our KNX Essentials Easy Shopping Guide. This has been specifically designed to support KNX Partners when specifying and designing a KNX system. This includes a range of popular front and back-end KNX devices along with bundle codes and technical information.
When KNX Partner status has been achieved the purchase of a ETS licence is required when working on KNX projects and two licence types are most commonly used. Firstly, the ETS Lite licence, limited to programming 20 devices per project is suitable for small scale systems. Secondly the ETS Professional licence which has no limitation to the number of devices which can be programmed per project.
Do I need to have any prior experience with control systems or programming software?
No, there are no pre-requisites for this course.
What costs are involved?
KNX Partner Certification Course: Newcastle £650 ex vat OR London course £700 ex vat
KNX ETS Licence: Lite €200 OR Professional €1,000
There no monthly or annual subscriptions for either Partner Certification or the ETS licence nor a product purchase package commitment following graduation. When graduating at the My KNX Store Training Academy our graduates receive a €140 discount voucher off the ETS Lite Licence and a €185 discount voucher when upgrading from an ETS Lite Licence to a ETS Professional Licence
