Both the Standard and Comfort models detect even the smallest movements in the room and enable automatic control of various functions in the KNX system depending on presence. For example, control of lighting, heating, or ventilation can be tailored to the lifestyle of the end-user and to maximise the energy efficiency of the system. Thanks to various design options each model can fulfil ceiling, flush-mounted or surface-mounted installation and are suitable for both internal and external use.
KNX presence detector Mini Standard
The Gira KNX presence detector Mini Standard features an integrated bus coupling, three PIR sensors and is equipped with a brightness sensor. It can either be used as an individual device, a main unit or an auxiliary unit and enables fully automatic or semi-automatic lighting control. It can also be combined with other Gira KNX presence detectors. The overrun time can be set flexibly and adapts to user behaviour if desired. Only a minimum and a maximum value must be specified for this purpose. Depending on the duration of the movement it detects in the room, the Gira KNX presence detector Mini Standard then selects a correspondingly short or long overrun time.

Gira KNX presence detector Mini Comfort
Compared to the Standard variant the Mini Comfort offers numerous additional functions, the most noticeable being the more advanced brightness control parameters within the unit. In addition to the control option by means of infrared remote control, the Gira KNX presence detector Mini Comfort includes many other software features for intelligent lighting control.
